Terms of Service

These terms are maintained by SelfForward and describe the deal between you and us when you use the site. By creating an account or continuing to use SelfForward, you agree to them.

What SelfForward is

SelfForward is a personal reflection tool. It uses AI to write letters, generate images, and simulate voice calls with a fictional "future you." It is not medical, legal, financial, or therapeutic advice. Nothing on the site predicts the future or diagnoses anything about you.

Your account

• You must be at least 16 years old to use SelfForward.
• You are responsible for keeping your login secure and for anything that happens under your account.
• You agree not to upload photos, voice, or content that is not yours, or that infringes on someone else's rights.

Paid plans

Some features require a paid subscription, billed through Stripe. Prices and features are shown on the pricing page. You can cancel any time in Settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the site to harass, threaten, or impersonate anyone.
• Try to generate content that sexualizes minors, incites violence, or violates any law.
• Scrape, resell, or reverse-engineer the service.
• Upload another person's face, voice, or likeness without their permission.

We can suspend or delete accounts that break these rules.

Content and AI output

You keep ownership of the photos and text you upload. AI-generated letters, images, and voice output are provided as-is. They may be inaccurate, biased, or surprising. Don't rely on them for important decisions without your own judgment.

Deleting your account

You can delete your account and all associated data any time from Settings → Danger Zone. Once deleted, we cannot recover it.

Warranties and liability

SelfForward is provided "as is." To the fullest extent allowed by law, we disclaim implied warranties and are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability to you is capped at what you paid us in the last 12 months.

Changes

We may update these terms. If we make a material change, we will notify you by email or in-app before it takes effect.
